Largest Congress Stock Trades This Month

Politician Stock Tracker

Most congressional stock trades sit in small disclosure buckets—but the largest congress stock trades stand out when a purchase is far bigger than that politician's own norm. Our tracker flags 51 such outliers by comparing each buy to the member's 24-month median purchase size.

The short answer

“Largest” here means unusually large for that politician, not necessarily the biggest dollar trade in the entire Capitol. A $50,000 buy can qualify if it dwarfs someone's typical $1,000–$15,000 pattern.

The biggest recent outliers in our data:

Politician Ticker Disclosed range vs their median
Donald J Trump META $5,000,001–$25,000,000 ~462×
Donald J Trump MSFT $5,000,001–$25,000,000 ~462×
Michael J Kratsios SWPPX $1,000,001–$5,000,000 ~375×
Josh Gottheimer MSFT $500,001–$1,000,000 ~94×
Donald J Trump AAPL $1,000,001–$5,000,000 ~92×

Trump's April–May 2026 disclosures include several multi-million-dollar purchase ranges across mega-cap tech—each scored as a major jump from his typical $15,001–$50,000 buy bucket.

How we identify whale trades

Each flagged purchase is compared to that politician's median disclosed buy size over the prior 24 months. Trades that exceed the baseline by a large multiple surface on largest congress stock trades.

What the numbers mean

  • Amount labels come straight from filing ranges (e.g. $500,001–$1,000,000)—not exact fills.
  • Size ratio = how many times larger the trade is vs that member's recent median.
  • The list focuses on purchases; for broad selling pressure see stocks congress is selling.

What we do not claim

  • Large size does not prove inside information or future outperformance.
  • Filings can arrive months after the transaction date.
  • Executive-branch OGE reports (e.g. Trump) follow different forms than House PTRs but use the same public-disclosure principle.
