Questions about latest politician stock trades

How this feed works, what the dates mean, and how to dig deeper into any politician.

This page lists the most recent stock buys and sells reported by politicians in their public financial disclosure filings. Each row shows who traded, what they bought or sold, the reported amount range, and both the trade date and when the filing was published.

A politician profile focuses on one person — their performance, top stocks, and full trade history. This page is a site-wide feed of the newest trades across all politicians, so you can scan what Congress is doing right now without searching one name at a time.

The trade date is when the transaction happened. The reported date is when the disclosure filing became public. Politicians are not required to report trades immediately, so there is often a gap of days or weeks between the two.

We refresh the list as new disclosure filings are published and processed. The feed is not real-time — it reflects what has been filed and indexed so far, typically updated on a rolling basis as new reports come in.

Congressional disclosure forms use preset dollar ranges (for example, $15,001–$50,000) instead of exact share counts or prices. We show the range exactly as reported in the filing.
